WHO AM I?

I am an American who has been living in France since 2009. As a psychotherapist, I am dedicated to facilitating insight and transformation through empathic conversation and listening.

I work in a Centre Médico-Psychologique (an outpatient facility that’s part of the French state mental health care system) and I also collaborate with a team of specialists working with children and families in underprivileged areas to advocate for school success.

In France, I earned my licence (bachelor’s equivalent) and my master’s degree in clinical psychology from the Université de Paris VII – Denis Diderot. This professional master’s is a diploma recognized by the French government (and all European governments) that allows me to practice as a licensed clinical psychologist.

During my studies, I completed a total of 1,000 hours of internships in various fields: in adult psychiatry, in family therapy, in palliative care, and in addiction treatment.

In addition, I have a B.A. in French studies and comparative literature from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
